HaulScan ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Think Latitude. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the HaulScan mobile application (the "App"). Please read it carefully.

HaulScan uses your device camera exclusively for barcode scanning. We do not capture photos, record video, or access your camera roll. Camera data is processed on-device and only the extracted barcode value is transmitted to our servers for product lookup.

3.1 Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for authentication, database, and analytics. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data. See: Google Ads Privacy

3.3 Product Data APIs

When you scan a barcode, we query third-party product databases to retrieve item information. Only the barcode value is transmitted — no personal information is included in these requests.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at thinklatitude@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

HaulScan is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), Firebase security rules, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App or sending a notification. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
